Achieving Success Through Chaos

Chaos theory explains (or attempts to) why simple systems become complex, why small changes in the starting position can make massive differences to results. Before Chaos theory, classical physics and mathematics assumed in real world systems that the cause and effect could be directly related and predicted that is, by understanding the inputs could you reliably predict the outputs.
For instance, classical theory suggested that if you knew the temperature, humidity, wind direction, surface temperature etc, you could predict the weather, all you need is a computer large enough take this information and perform the millions of complex calculations to predict the weather. We now understand, through Chaos Theory that small changes in the inputs (such as temperature) can produce enormous differences in the result, that could not be predicted by the computer running the model.
Using the weather example, a change in temperature of 1 degree may produce thunderstorms or cyclones that would not be predicted by the Classical model.
Chaos in our Life
As a human being, you are governed by the same laws as all of nature, so Chaos Theory is equally applicable in your life. You may this manifest in a chance meeting with an old friend, this may result in a followup catching up, exploring common interests and starting a business together. This idea of chance encounters and different results has been explored in numerous films, books, poetry and discussions, in reality Chaos Theory is science starting to explain things that we all know to be true.
Taking Chaos Further
Chaos Theory goes further though and finds that within the ensuing uncertainty, repeating patterns or order do occur, though these may not be visible initially. We can understand that in our own lives, when unpredictable events happen, which seem to have no order, over time we start to see the patterns and order, indeed overtime we find that these become our new patterns and order.
Making Chaos work for You
The first lesson from Chaos is that by making small changes in your life you can affect changes that you cannot predict, meaning some changes may produce limited results, others may produce results out of all proportion to the change.
The second lesson from Chaos is that even out of unpredictable, uncertain results, with time you will find the order and the pattern, and you must give yourself the time to find the patterns.
The hidden or reverse law of Chaos is that if you do not make constant, minor changes in your life you will reduce the likelihood that huge, unpredictable and beneficial results will come your way.
Success Exercise
First, think about 3 small changes that you could make today (eg. using your mouse in your other hand, driving a different way home, reading a book you wouldn’t normally read). The purpose of the exercise is to start to introduce constant change into your life.
Second, commit yourself to doing something new or different everyday.

Essentials Ensuring Success In Change

There are eight essentials ensuring success in change. They are about changing behavior, attitudes and personal skills - the most challenging and difficult kinds of change to make, but also the most effective and rewarding. We're not dealing with the act of acquiring something – billions of dollars worth of software,exercise equipment, books, tools, and processes are gathering dust because the people that bought them confused hope with results. They did not follow through with the eight essentials for change – the goals, actions, persistence and determination to make real differences in individual and organizational behavior.
Essential 1. Realize there are four stages in all change processes. These four stages occur in every successful change initiative - from losing ten pounds, to the adoption of new ways of doing business, to working with a new boss or new owners. Remember them and use them to ensure your success.
Stage One – Enthusiasm – This stage is characterized by high energy, commitment, high expectations and aggressive goals. This is the stage driven by opportunity and the commitment to meeting aggressive goals.
Stage Two – Frustration – This stage is characterized by a reduction in enthusiasm, frustration with dates and goals missed or delayed, the beginning of friction and blaming, the stage where energy declines and initial commitment is questioned.
Stage Three – Renewal – This is the stage where the lessons of the first two stages help create an experience - based set of goals and expectations that lead to success. This is where individual leadership and determination and persistence take center stage and create a renewed energy and commitment.
Stage Four– Success –In this stage success becomes the norm rather than the exception. Goals are being met; the lessons learned from the first three stages are being applied; and things are looking good. Celebration of big successes arising from small successes begins. Evaluation of the process for use in future projects occurs.
The remaining 7 Essentials are the personal behaviors, attitudes and skills that will ensure success in any change process or project or initiative. They're not easy – but working to adopt these behaviors, attitudes and personal skills will create success.
Essential 2– Persistence and determination – nothing will support personal and professional change more than the determination to see the process to its successful end – and the persistence to “Press On” through all four stages.
Essential 3 – Choice - while many changes are beyond individual control, we always, and I mean always, have the freedom to choose how to deal with and respond to change. This is the most important belief we can have. To the extent that change is embraced and accepted and seen as being helpful we will prosper – in many ways.
Essential 4 – Set yourself up to succeed. Big successes start with a series of small successes. The big picture may be fuzzy, but you can establish goals and expectations for yourself that will lead toward success. In setting up realistic, time measured, specific, results driven goals you can celebrate small successes on the way to big success. It is essential for your own energy and motivation to do that
Essential 5 – Replace judging behavior with evaluation of results. Judging is one of the worst behaviors anyone can practice. Why? Any individual shares the same behavior profile with no more than 10% to 20% of the population. When we judge others based on behavior, we are judging based on how we would do something, not how others may do it, and we stand the chance of being wrong 80% to 90% of the time! Create a results - driven climate to help ensure evaluation is based on performance to goals and expectations.
Essential 6 – Replace assumptions with expectations. Just like judging based on behavior, we will be wrong about 80% to 90% of the time if we assume that others hear things the same way we do, or see them the same way, or interpret them the same way. Create expectations – communicate them – or communicate a clear understanding of them – and clear away a lot of the “fog” that gets in the way of creating the results necessary for success.
Essential 7 – Communicate – communicate – communicate. When you think you have communicated enough, communicate some more. Identify the “universe” of people that you work with; that you work for; that work for you; that support your work; and whose work you support. Create channels of communication with all of them. The more trust created through communication with that “universe”, the more time becomes available to meet individual and organizational goals..
Essential 8– ACT!!! All the plans and communications and intentions mean nothing without specific, energetic action to meet requirements. Act today – today is all there is – accomplish goals today, and success will follow.
Remember this: The only security anyone has – individually, professionally or collectively, is in accomplishments. The more change is embraced and made to work for us, the more opportunities for accomplishment will be offered, and those accomplishments are the number one source of success, security and competitive advantage.

There will be times in your life when you are pressing for success and no one around you thinks you have what it takes to get it. This can be a lonely time but you can’t let it stop you from reaching your goals and dreams. Here are a few keys to help you to succeed when no one else thinks you can.
1. Remember why you are doing this.
You have to constantly remind yourself why you are doing what you are doing. Others may be telling you that you can’t succeed and that there is no reason to keep going, but if you know why then you won’t quit. As long as you don’t let people make you forget your purpose you will succeed.
2. Seek out supporters.
Sometimes the reason why people don’t believe in you anymore is because you have outgrown their beliefs. You see some of your friends and family won’t grow with you so how can they believe at your same level? Seek out people that have done great things and know what it’s like to accomplish them. These types of people will believe in you when it seems like no one else will.
3. Don’t quit.
This can be one of the hardest things to not do. It’s easy to quit. Just because that may seem like the easy thing to do doesn’t make it the right thing to do. If you really want to achieve success you have to be willing to keep going even when no one else thinks you will succeed. The greatest successes come when you don’t give up.

You are probably like most people and what to have as much success as you possibly can in your lifetime. The sad thing is that most people never even come close to having great success. If the truth be told, one of the main reasons you haven’t reached the level of success you want is because your beliefs aren’t where they need to be. I know that is a pretty bold statement since I don’t even know you.
However, if you think about it you real realize that a lot of the reason why you have failed at things in the past is because of what you believed. What is Success and How Do We Achieve It?

To be clear about what success is must be the first step to achieving success.
So far, the best definition I have come across is: "Success is the completion of anything intended." In other words success is finishing what you planned to do.
Even robbing a bank is a kind of success if that is what you wished to do. However, you probably did not intend to end up in prison!
The above definition of success shines a light on failure and success. Make a plan and follow it and you will have succeeded. Make a plan and do not follow it and you will have failed.
This gives a yard stick for judging every day of our lives. We can say at the end of the day "I have failed" or "I have succeeded."
This may seem very obvious but it is amazing that only about 85% of the human race end up doing what they intended.
I asked several people what they thought success was. One person said that "Success is making loads of money." Another said that success is "Achieving your goals". Some one else said that success is "Fulfilling your potential". An interesting answer was that success is "Making others jealous".
Brian Tracy agrees with the connection between success and goals. He has said "Success is goals, and all else is commentary." Tracy believes that people with clear, written goals, accomplish far more in a shorter period of time than people without them.
Stuart Goldsmith in "The Midas Method" has an important section on how to set goals so that they are achieved using the full power of the subconscious mind.
Maria Nemeth gives this definition of success: "Doing what you said you would do, with ease".
"Doing what you said you would do" is currently not achieved by the majority of the human race especially politicians! Doing it with ease is achieved by even fewer and requires making the most of the subconscious mind.
Jim Rohn argues that success is just a few simple disciplines practised daily.
The power of daily discipline is HUGE. Because the discipline is practised daily the effect is cumulative. The good practice is carried out 365 times a year with, perhaps, a few lapses.
It cannot fail to have tremendous influence. Once the discipline becomes a daily habit, it can be forgotten about until the rewards start coming in.
The writer who writes every day has written well over 300 pages by the end of the year. If he or she does not write every day they lose momentum and inspiration. If they keep up the writing (even just a few words a day) a magnet for relevant thoughts develops.
Recently a Liverpool student of American media studies applied for 600 jobs and received only one interview which he failed. He decided to write a novel. He determined to complete ten pages a day. He worked in the evenings at a dead end job to make money and then wrote until about 5 in the morning at his novel which has now become famous. It also looks like becoming a Hollywood blockbuster film.
He points out that if you write only one page a day for 100 days you can write a screen play. He wrote his novel by studying the structure of two other novels and noticing how they were structured and wrote his screenplay after studying video of films and noticing how long each scene lasted before there was a change.
I can't remember his name or the name of his book as I just happened to hear part of his interview on television.
The practice of daily disciplines alone can change our lives totally. Another benefit of daily disciplines is that they quickly create habits and habits create character.

Adam Hollioake is one of the most successful English county cricket captains. He realised what is important in life when his brother Ben was killed in a car accident in Perth Australia. Adam learned that he should be kind to people and have fun and "that’s what life is about."
His view of success in cricket is not necessarily winning. He is not afraid to lose a cricket match. He is only concerned that his team put 100% effort into the game. He comments:

My computer guru, Danny believes that you should hold on to your dream in all circumstances and never let go. Grab hold of your vision with an iron fist and even if you are down on your luck and in the gutter never give up.
Danny himself has held on to a dream for 22 years. His dream is to develop the best languages translator in the world.
It does not matter if you are 72 - grab hold of your dream. Actually visualize your hand holding on to that dream. Too many people are worn down by life and give up their dreams.
Every dream is personal but the principle is the same. You are an idiot if you let go. You have to have a reason for living. Set yourself a goal and never let go until you die.
There is nothing you can't do. If you can't swim 10 lengths without a rest, train for a few months and you will be able to swim 50 lengths.
Danny's comments about swimming reminded me about how little is taught at school about how training can improve your abilities.
At my school in the Isle of Man, there was an annual half mile swim in the sea. I knew I would drown if I attempted this but no one ever suggested that I start training hard so that I would be capable of completing the swim.
I was just classified as someone who could not do the swim. It did not occur to me that through determined training I would be able to do what I could not previously do.
When Danny was young he was a skinny weakling. But one day he decided that this was not a good thing. He filled out and did some weight training and set up his own fitness, strength and flexibility routine.
He performs this every other day. This avoids the boredom of a daily routine. He does 200 situps, 30-50 leg raises and three or four sets of 20-30 bench presses.
He also does 2 sets of 20 or 30 squats with dumbells to develop leg power. The dumbbells avoid the danger of overbalancing with a barbell across your shoulders. There is also little likelihood that you will drop the dumbbells on children or family pets! Dumbells allow for greater control than barbells.
Danny's advice for success is to do something. If in doubt, read a book. The worst thing you can do is sit on your backside watching TV. If you do, nothing will ever happen. He notes the hypnotic effect of TV on the spectators. Danny seldom ever watches TV.
Danny also is impressed by Arnold Schwarzenegger who has just been elected Governor of California. If Arnold wants something, he does what is necessary to get that thing. If he had to eat 50 mars bars, he would eat them. If he had to stand stark naked on his head in a field for half an hour he would.
This is an example to us all. If you have to put stamps on thousands of envelopes to send out your direct mail sales letters, you just have to do it.
The basic principle is that you have to do what is required. Some things require certain actions to achieve them and you have to do them whether you like doing them or not.
It is no good saying I want to be Governor of California but I don't want to do any public speaking or travel on the campaign trail or be friendly to thousands of people you don't like. You have to pick up babies and smile at people you may not like.
If you want to be rich you have to do those things which will make you rich. It's no good saying "I don't really want to do it." Danny gives himself a virtual smack round the head every time he is tempted to give up on his projects.
Some people think they will make money by taking short cuts like suing people or fraud. The world would be a much better place if people just got on with doing what they had to do.
Many successful people stress the importance of action in achieving success.
Michael Masterson of the Ezine "Early to Rise" writes:"Action is the key to success, and failure to act is the reason most people will never achieve the kind of success they dream about"
Another approach to achieving success is to stay cool about it. Just get on with doing what you think is important and what you love to do.
"Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally." Sir David Frost
Elvis Presley gave his cousin Donna some advice to help her achieve her goals for the future. It seems good advice to me:
Donna's best memory of Elvis was when she was 18 and she spoke to him one on one. He asked her about her plans for the future and told her she could achieve anything she wanted "so long as you have faith in God;have faith in yourself; work hard and never let anyone tell you, you can't do something".

"How to Improve Your Self Esteem with Your Subconscious" By Kenneth Koh
"What are the most effective techniques for programming the self esteem? I learned that I can not outperform my self esteem. Is it true?"
Yes it’s true. You cannot outperform your self esteem. Your self esteem is your belief in your self, and your belief creates your reality. That’s the law of belief. Nobody can change that. You can read more at subconscious-secrets website.
There are two ways you can boost your self esteem:
1) Affirm to yourself in front of a mirror. Use ‘YOU’ as the subject and give command to yourself. For example, if I want to improve my self esteem, I will stand upright, look into my eyes in the mirror and say “Kenneth, you are the best! You are the greatest! You can definitely succeed!” Repeat 9 times everyday (sounds like a doctor’s prescription :)
It works 100% if you follow through this method for at least 30 days.
2) Another effective way to increase your self esteem is by listening to audible affirmation. Why do I use the word audible? Because there are many people trying to sell subliminal programs. I know they works, because many people say so. The only problem is I’ve not experienced it working on me!
Instead of waiting for miracles to happen, I suggest you listen to audible affirmation because I’ve tried this method myself and it works. There are many motivational audio CDs in the market. Get one that is related to self esteem or self esteem and listen to it everyday for 30 days and at least once a month.
One thing I would like to emphasize here is to be clear of the difference between high self esteem and high self ego.
A person with high self esteem is confident in myself, but he doesn’t have to show it to the world. He doesn’t need recognition from other people. He doesn’t need people to tell him “You are good”, although some of these can be encouraging.
A person with high self esteem knows what he wants, and he steadily executes his plan one step at a time. His self esteem is NOT related to his current achievement nor any other external factors. Because of this, he DARES to fail. He knows that he learns more from failure. He knows that through failure, he will come out stronger.
On the other hand, a person with high self ego needs power and authority. He minds how people look at him. To him, sense of achievement and sense of recognition is very important to his value system. He doesn’t know that these values are destroying his life. He dare not fail, because of his high sense of achievement and recognition. He needs power to cover his weakness.
You may ask, if a person doesn’t have any sense of achievement and recognition, what motivates him to achieve more in life?
Ask those who are highly successful. The answer is their sense of responsibility.
A person with high self esteem has high sense of responsibility. He is responsible for himself (for living the fullest he can). He is responsible to his boss or his customers (for rendering the best service he can). He is responsible to his staff (for providing them with a stable income and living). He is responsible to the society (for being grateful of all the things around him).
It is the sense of responsibility that pushes him to a greater height from time to time.

It’s a side-effect of depression, and it’s one of the most dangerous causes thereof as well. Especially during depressive episodes, maintaining your self-esteem can be quite hard to do. There are many things that can bring your self-esteem down, and there are ways to try and minimize them. That is not what this is about, however. This is about what to do to keep from dropping your self-esteem, how to try and keep a positive attitude about yourself.
There are a few ways to do this. The simplest is to make a list of things that you like about yourself, or things that you feel that you are good at. Even if this list is short, the important thing to do is to make the list and focus on the length, not how long you feel that it should be. Focus on things within each list and, if you can, expand on them. By making sublists, you will be able to add to your main list and have specifics to remember about why you are proud of each item on your list.

When it is good we feel as though we are on top of the world. However when it is not good we can often feel as if we are frozen. That "thing" is of course our self esteem. When our self esteem is low it can often seem as if there is nothing we can do, and if we can do it we can't do it right! This is not true however! I know you are a smart vibrant individual, and by using the steps in this newsletter you can know it too!
What is Self Esteem?
Self esteem is the way that we view ourselves. This can include how we view our physical self, do we like the way we look; as well as how we view our inner selves, do we like who we are as a person? Self image can serve to both help us or hinder us. A positive self-image can serve as fuel to keep you moving through difficult situations; while a negative self esteem acts like a boot on the wheel of a car; the car will run but it can't go anywhere!
How can we improve our self esteem?
One of the key components to improving your self esteem is to identify what concepts you are holding about yourself are harming you and holding you back. Do you ever think:
"I'm SO stupid! Why did I do that?"
"I don't know why I even try, I never do anything right!"
"Of course they dumped me, I'm such a loser who would want to date me?"
If so, then these thoughts are supporting your negative self image. It is important to replace these mistaken beliefs with positive thoughts, or affirmations, that serve to support what a wonderful and intelligent person you are!
For example:
"I did my best, next time I will do something different."
"Well even though that didn't work, I am proud because I did the best I could!"
"I am sad that it didn't work out, but I am a good and interesting person who will find that someone who is right for me."
Keep a journal of your negative self thoughts for one week, then think of a positive counterpart to replace the negative thought with. Write the positive thought on cards and carry them with you as a reminder to stay positive!

At this point, when you give in to the pressure that you’re not complete except by being like the other person, you no longer live yourself – other people’s opinion now dictates your sense of taste, of smell, of perception towards life and of living. Your life begins to dwindle, it begins to drift, gradually, you no longer feel happy and comfortable with yourself, as a result, nothing seems to please you about yourself – low Self Esteem. Influences from the media [TV, Press, Radio, and the Internet] can also cause you low Self Esteem.

Self Esteem is how we feel about ourselves, how much we like and respect ourselves.
It has been said that if we don’t like ourselves it is impossible to really like, much less to love, anyone else. Liking and respecting ourselves is very different from vanity or narcissism, which at their most extreme, can become total self-absorption, selfishness and the inability to consider anyone else’s viewpoint or feelings. To have healthy self esteem, on the other hand, is to be comfortable and confident within ourselves, with who we are as people.
Most people have their self doubts, and may be uncomfortable with some of their personality traits. The good news is that we can change almost any part of our personality if it is important to us and we are prepared to put in the necessary effort. This is actually what self improvement is all about, making positive change to our lives. Making changes requires commitment and can be difficult, but there are many valuable resources available that can provide great advice and guidance.
Self esteem is about how we feel on the inside, and how we feel inside will affect how we feel and act on the outside. Our self esteem determines our personality and character, and how we react to the experiences and challenges we face in our lives. It also affects our relationships and how we interact with everyone we come in contact with. And it certainly affects how successful and happy we are throughout our lives.
Having healthy self esteem is really about feeling comfortable and confident with ourselves as we are, and appreciating ourselves as human beings. Self esteem is extremely important but why is it and how does it affect you?
1. Self esteem is closely linked to your success. Have you ever noticed that people that live a successful life usually have a good self image?

Don’t confuse self esteem with arrogance

One mistake that you might mistake is to confuse self esteem with arrogance, boasting, and obnoxious, overbearing behavior. This kind of behavior is more often due to low self esteem leading to the need to be constantly validated by others.
If you have high self esteem you do not need to show off, after all you are confident about your own capabilities. As importantly, you don’t need the constant praising and approval of others to achieve happiness, your own self worth will tell you that you should be happy.
The idea of too much self esteem can also come from people of low self esteem – they can feel uncomfortable and unhappy when they are in the presence of someone with a much higher self esteem. What they are really saying is that they would rather deal with other people of low self esteem…
Low self esteem is not an excuse…
Another temptation is to use your self esteem as an excuse for your results. Yes self esteem is very important if you are to be happy and successful, but many people have achieved success without it.
As well as self esteem you need other personal characteristics such as energy, drive, a positive work ethic, openness to learning… A high self esteem complements and reinforces all these other characteristics.
Surveys of successful people have shown that one of the most common drivers for success is to prove themselves to someone else – a parent, a spouse, their peer group, a teacher can all have influenced them. Their drive comes from their sense of unworthiness, in other words their lack of self esteem in one area of their life.
The problems that you might encounter if you are driven by a lack of self esteem are that you will find it difficult to enjoy your success to the fullest. The fleeting moment of triumph and vindication will soon be replaced by the drive to prove yourself again. Even worse, you may feel unworthy of your success and end up sabotaging yourself…
Fortunately, there are many reasons why you might be motivated to be successful and it is possible to have a high self esteem and achieve your dreams and achieve great happiness…
There are no limits to your self esteem!
You’ve seen that self esteem is a powerful tool to help you succeed. It can be mistaken for arrogance, but true self esteem is an internal personal happiness about you and your life. Are there limits to how happy you can be?
The answer is no. You can always increase your true self esteem. Everyone, even the most self confident positive thinkers have moments of doubt, everyone has the opportunity to raise their self esteem.

Those who should support you the most are the ones who break your spirit more often, but you can do something about it. When you are young, someone's negative thinking can easily sway you, but as you grow older, you realize they were just using that as a means of controlling you and preventing you from the things you wanted to do. For some unknown reason, perhaps insecurity, husbands are high on the list of people who create havoc with self esteem. You must control who you are and what you want from yourself instead of letting others tell you that you are not good enough or talented enough to do it.

A great description of self-esteem I find helpful, goes like this….
Self-esteem is when you:
Can’t wait to get up in the morning
When you walk tall
When you look people in the eye
And move with confidence
It’s when you are handed
A difficult assignment and
Dive into it enthusiastically
It’s when you know it is safe
To be honest in your relationships
It’s when you feel
Exhilarated when you work hard
It’s when you’re in love with life
Is that the way you feel? Is that the way you want to feel? Well it is possible.
It is possible to live that way, as long as you are prepared to do the work to get what you want from life. That‘s because self-esteem is one of those areas of your life only you can really do anything about.
Now, even if you don’t feel you can do anything, I want to tell you right up front, you do have what it takes to gain control over your life and live the way you want. That surely has to be a better proposition than being pushed around by forces outside your control, or spending the rest of your life drifting along, going where the river of life just happens to take you.
The fact is, you cannot escape your self-esteem. The impact your self-esteem has on your life does not need your understanding or your approval. It is just there. It is part of the package deal you got when you were born. Your self-esteem either works for you or against you. There is no third option. Your self-esteem works with your involvement or without it. The choice, as always is yours. But, if it is part of the ‘package deal’ of being alive why not give it some consideration. Who knows, you might actually start to enjoy life, rather than endure it.

"Low Self Esteem? Raise It With These Tips" By Jeff Herring
Many people define self-esteem as the way you feel about yourself, which seems a little redundant.
Let's define self-esteem as the perceptions and beliefs you have about yourself.
Raising your self esteem
One method is simply to rate it on what I call the Self-Esteem Rating Scale (SERS). Here's how it works:
On a scale of one to 10, with one being the worst and 10 being the best, rate your self-esteem in these four ways:
1. What it is now.
2. The worst it's ever been.
3. The best it's ever been.
4. How you would like it to be.
Now consider these things:
What, which you might need to eliminate, were you doing when your self-esteem was the worst?
What were you doing when it was the best, which you might need to resume doing, continue doing or do more of in the future?
If your self-esteem now is higher than the worst it's ever been, what did you do to change it, which you might want to continue to do?
Now take a look at the difference between what your self-esteem is now and what you would like it to be. The difference is the ground you need to cover to improve your self-esteem.
Now for a seemingly bizarre and unrelated question: How do you like your pizza?
Just bear with me here.
However you like your pizza, what would happen if you tried to eat an extra-large version of it in one bite? That's right: You couldn't do it and would probably choke. So you slice it into smaller pieces and then take even smaller bites to accomplish the task. It's the same with self-esteem.
For example, let's say your selfesteem is now a five and you would like it to be a 10. That's a difference of five self-esteem levels. If you tried to jump from a five to a 10 all at once, you probably would become frustrated, discouraged and would give up. It's just too big a leap.
Make progress one step at a time
What you can do is begin to break it into manageable pieces by asking yourself, "What will it take to move from a five to a six, a six to a seven?" and so on.
In this way, you are biting off manageable chunks that will givee you the opportunity to achieve small successes, which can then propel you on to the bigger success of accomplishing your self-esteem goal.
Although using the self-esteem rating scale can be a quick and easy way to improve your self-esteem, that's not to say it won't involve some struggle.

Self-Esteem effects how you look at yourself in the mirror; feel and talk about yourself, it’s important to know who you are and to value yourself.
Self-Esteem is knowing that you are worth a lot (priceless) but not bragging about how good you are, its how much you value yourself and how important you feel about your achievements, nobody is perfect but knowing that you worthy of being loved and accepted.
There are a number of people who are confident, when they fall into the public eye, such as politicians, actors, comedians, artists and the like, they seem to glow with assertiveness, some of these individuals, although they are attractive and world famous, they find it hard to value themselves, they feel insecure and they lack in self-esteem.
So what is self-esteem? It is not the same as confidence, that’s for sure!
So self-esteem means;
To value yourself highly without being pretentious To have a positive attitude Being confident in what you do Liking yourself for who you are Be deserving of love and happiness Being a good human being and taking criticism as constructive to help you become a better person You feel ok in both mind and body.

"Install New Money Buttons And Feel Your Way To Financial Freedom" by: Zoe Routh
What keeps people from being wealthy is negative emotional money buttons. Your 'money buttons' are buttons that get pressed when you have certain negative thoughts about money. Negative thoughts produce negative experiences that in turn create more negative thoughts and feelings and therefore more negative results.
This thought-feeling-response-thought-feeling pattern gets repeated over and over and wears a deep energy pattern into your psyche. It is like playing the same record or tape over and over again. If you want a new record or tape to play, one that makes you feel good and produces the results you want (financial freedom), you need to remove the old pattern before you install a new one. Here's how to defuse the negative money buttons and install new ones .
1. Expose your negative money buttons. Complete the checklist in the article, "Expose your money buttons" that you can read here on my website at

2. Conjure up the thoughts and feelings you typically experience around money. Focus your awareness and attention on where the negative feelings around money turn up in your body. For some this is in the chest, head, or neck. For me, it's in my stomach. It does not matter where it is, just focus on where it shows up for you.
3. Close your eyes and focus your attention on the part that is most intense. Then just put all your attention on what it feels like in that place. After a few minutes open your eyes and notice the difference. Often the feeling dissipates, expands, releases, or shifts. This means you are scrambling the emotional pattern and releasing the energy that has been stuck there for some time.
4. Repeat this exercise every time you have feelings of discomfort around money.
5. At the same time, you can also supersaturate your environment with new beliefs and ideas around money and wealth creation. Read books, articles, magazines about money and wealth creation. Write out your intentions for building wealth - why do you want to be wildly wealthy? Seek out role models who have created what you want to create and learn everything you can about how they did it. Put up pictures and images of the things you want to create and experience as a result of your wealth. This will keep generating feelings of excitement and enthusiasm.
6. The aim of these exercises is to get you feeling good, really good, about money, wealth, and wealth creation. When you feel good, your intuition will guide you to opportunities that will help create whatever it is you desire. The more you resonate with feelings of excitement, energy, enthusiasm, gratitude, and pleasure when it comes to money thoughts, then the more you will be able to attract and create for yourself.
The beauty of this approach is that you feel good from the outset - you feel good visualising your wealth and then your excitement mounts as you implement your plans. Achieving the end result is just as exciting as visualising it. This means there is joy and delight in the creative process.
